Recent TPU prints are failing on my V1E MP3DP v4, seems like flow issue to others and myself. I’m currently suspecting snagging due to my bad design for the PTFE Guide shared in 2023 closed topic https://forum.v1e.com/t/ptfe-guide-ideas-for-enclosed-mp3dp-or-other-corexys-even/38680
My setup has bugged me for a while, so, am continuing the topic here… Just opened Fusion 360, am trying to get familiar with the 3yr old design again… Posting here incase someone’s got a neat PTFE filament setup they want to share?
To help iterate faster, and enable TPU path that bypasses the runout sensor (to minimize friction). I’m currently splitting the single printed mount part into separate runout sensor mount, and, an improved PTFE guide mount. Sharing my though process and progress incase someone(s) want to steer me in diff direction(s). Cheers!
