10 Years of V1!

Okay, this is nuts! Next month will hit the 10 year mark for us.

What should we do? I thought it would be fun to see “10” made on a V1 machine of any kind. We need some sort of tag so maybe #V1E10? Any other suggestions?

If not, how about, if you are having fun and running a V1 machine I would love nothing more than to see a “10” of some sort carved, burned, printed, draw, scraped in the sand before 15th of next month. I would really, really like to see the machine that made it, in the frame somehow, at least enough of it to know what machine it is. We have a project gallery already, I am looking for a machine gallery.

Please submit it here, FB, any of the socials above with the #V1E10 hashtag so I can find them. I would love to make a post on the homepage about the journey we have been through, and including a lot of those pictures will warm my little cold heart.

If you have some fun related CAD to share that might help some people as well. (logos are linked at the bottom of the homepage)

Congratulations @vicious1 on growing your idea into a business, and nurturing a healthy community. Thank you for all the machines and support!

Neat idea @RockinRiley! Some image filtering is needed though…

For music, The Chain came to mind for some reason :man_shrugging:. But curious what you go with…

Personally would like to see a LR4 paraded around on the back of a truck, outside Home Depot and such…

10 year anniversary printed part kits from the shop. Maybe special color, but definitely embossed with “10” somewhere on each part. V10E perhaps?

Oh this is a cool idea. Perhaps Ryan could mod the graphics on a few pieces with a special 10 year anniversary version for each machine. (Just a little 10 or something.)
