One of the things a struggle with on my LR4 are the Z-endstop holders. Being attached to the rest of the machine only with one screw, it happens sometimes that they pivot around it.
It would also be nice to have a way to fine tune them more precisely.
Has anyone encountered the same issues? Do you have any advice or solution?
Many parts of the LR4 design are the way they are because the machine fails without breaking itself. The endstop mounts only pivot when the machine overruns, which only happens when there’s a problem with the rest of the machine (endstop wiring, controller config, etc.)
The part could be rigidly mounted and then be cracked if there is ever an issue, but that was felt to be a worse option than just needing to fix the other problem and then re-adjust the mount.
