Is there a way to help prevent the zaxis from falling? When homeing the z sometimes it gets to the top and fall then repeats for the next 5min or till i shup down the machine or hit the limit switch
Is your Z topping out before it is able to hit the limit switch? you might need to adjust the switch so it triggers before Z gets all the way to the top
Its up there prob a mm or two off from the top. Ill add little bulk to the plates to trigger sooner.
Its weird because if i zero from the display it seems to have issues. If i zero from the wifi interface it works without issues.
That’s an odd one for me. But I have no experience with the wifi side yet. I have 3 here just need to take the time to install and mess with them. I’m old school and do everything from SD card and the screen
How far does it fall?
Are the grub screws tight on the coupler with the leadscrew?
The firmware shouldn’t drop and then attempt to climb again. Most firmware failures just give up. So my guess is the issue is mechanical or wiring.
