I have been running my machine for over a week now with no issues. Suddenly the x axis is skipping steps I think. Any advice? I tried recompile the file. Changing what I’m cutting. Checked my settings. Only thing I haven’t done is change out the bit to a new one. When it messes up I can see the x axis driver stop moving and I feel a jolt through the table.
You can see where it started cutting to the far right and then started cutting alittle to the left
I also tried tightening the belt
Make sure your wiring is good. With you running good for a while and now having issues I would check where the stepper wire connects to the extension cable. Make sure you have the S bend and tape like Ryan shows in the docs.
Ya I put the s bends and tape. My last resort was to change the bit and its cutting way better now. Not shredding like the part to the right.
