Well shoot I did not have any issue there either

Some time back I posted an experiment generating G-Code for the plates in FreeCad from the DXFs. Importing the DXFs was no problem, but creating a part from the Min plate DXF was problematic - but doable. If you scroll down in the thread, you can see the difference in how the Min DXF had to be handled to create a part. I’m a FreeCad advocate, not an expert, so there may be a way of handling the Min DXF that obviates the extra steps I found neccessary to deal with it.

FreeCAD XZ Plate Exercise

As a FreeCAD exercise, I’ve been trying to find the easiest way to convert the XZ Plate DXFs to parts. I’ve settled on 5 basic steps: Create a new Part Body in the Part Design workbench.
