I know the SKR 1.4 Turbo is not an officially endorsed board but I’ve seen a lot of threads about it here. I have a bit of a hard time to get an SKR Pro board at a reasonable price here (shipping etc makes it too expensive from V1). So I’m looking at the 1.4 Turbo with TMC2209.
Do you use it? Is it ok to get it to run?
I think if you know how to configure Marlin, it will be fine.
I’ve been using on on my MPCNC for going on several weeks. It took me a while to figure out how to compile the firmware so it would work, but that wasn’t a board problem, it was a me problem since I’ve never compiled firmware before.
The only issue I have is the with the TFT screen. When using touch mode it keeps throwing errors and beeping about an unknown command but is fine in Marlin mode. My next goal is to figure out how to redo that firmware, but since I’m using CNC.js I hardly ever interact with the screen so there hasn’t been any rush to get started on it.
