I wrote that title with the “The Christmas Story” movie in mind.
Almost 3 years ago I bought three sets of 4 1/2 ounce CA glue bottles and 16.9 ounce CA glue accelerant spray cans. Being that I am a DIY (work occasionally) shop instead of a professional (work every day) shop, I had no idea how long they would last or whether I would even be able to get the glue used. My prior history was with tubes of glue that became incorrigibly unusable because of dried glue in the nozzle and even inside the tubes. With this bottle I found that I could use my smallest drill bit when that happened and drill a new opening from the top down, and I’m so pleased to say that, after almost 3 years, I finally just used all the glue in the first of these three bottles of CA glue, and the first can accelerant outlasted the glue bottle by some small amount. The first spray can of accelerant feels light, but did not give up before the glue bottle did. I finally… used up all the glue… on purpose!
