yet another MPCNC

Still a work in progress, but it’s slowly taking form. I haven’t received yet the spindle that I’m planing to use, so never mind the z axis mess. Work area is roughly 1mx1mx150mm. A big thank you to Ryan for the project. It makes you learn a few things building it, and it is a versatile tool for various projects that I’m doing.

and the obligatory crown test  https://youtu.be/ipABaC3gQyc

Cool build, you tried some new things. The crown seemed to come out really well. Can’t wait to see what other things you pull out of it!

Thanks for the kind words.

Some test cuts with alucobond, using a 2 flute bit. test parts for my crappy Tevo 3d printer.

Did you do a finishing pass? I bet that would clean that up real nice. Cool choice of material I wish I could find some around here.

I didn’t do a finishing pass, i was just testing the 2 flute bits. Already removed the dremel, a 600w spindle arrived from china, with an ER16 collet. Time for an upgrade.

This is the spindle I’ll be using. I’m printing the brackets right now, in ABS.
