I am starting printing of parts for a build. The XZ and YZ plates, those look to be spec’ed at 1/2"? Anyone think there would be any issue using 2 1/4" MDF cut parts and laminiate them together with glue? I can cut 1/4" MDF with my co2 laser. I could swap them out later once its running if needed, once I can use the LR to mill them out of 1/2". Thanks!
YZ plates are spec 1/2" the XZ plates are 1/4" I dont see why the laminated parts for YZ wouldnt work. I know most of us run Aluminum XZ plates from Ryan so not sure about those being out of MDF
