I’m at the early stages of wiring. I have not made the strut plates yet. I don’t want to have to rerun the wiring after I add the strut plates. What am I missing? I using a dust collector also.
I don’t have a lowrider, but I don’t believe there’s anything about adding the strut plates that would necessitate wiring changes. I guess I’d look ahead to the strut plate installation steps in the Docs and make sure not to zip tie anything to something those steps would require.

Thanks. I think it is making more sense as I run the wires. The strut plates go on the outside.

the LR3 had a fully enclose gantry, but the 4 has one plate in front and one on the bottom. You will likely not need to rewire even if you fish your wires through the braces because the braces don’t come off when you fit your strut plates. A gantry-mounted controller can be wired with very simple routing to go out to the motors on the Y-max side and into the YZ plate openings.
You can pull the core off without taking the side plates off if that is your concern… lift the gantry to the top z position, and slide the top tube to the left (X-min side) to make a gap wider than the core. Slide the core over to the right and into the gap opening and then lower it off the lower rail (after detaching the belt on the Xmax side… put your strut plates on and then install in reverse. if you don’t take the YZ plates off, no need to unwire/rewire.
