Wireless controller possible?

That’s basically the whole question.

Several people on the forums have successfully implemented controllers with WiFi network connections. Is that the sort of wireless controller you’re asking about? I’m betting you’ll get more substantive answers if you can provide the specific controller you’re considering.

There are several ways to achieve this …

probably the easiest is to attach a raspberry pi to you controller card and use @jeffeb3 s #v1pi image with it. That will allow controll via wifi. With a tablet or laptop.

Bart Dring also has some esp32 based grbl controllers that have native wireless.

I use a Duet 2 Wifi controller for both my Primo and LowRider. They have the Duet Web control built in, so I can use my phone, tablet or laptop to control the machine easily.

I have some of Bart Dring’s boards for a Zen table and a laser, which also have a decent web interface, and I’ve used a V1Pi for control of another Zen table, and I used to use it for my Primo.

Oh, and just for good measure, I’ve also added an ESP01S module to the SKR Pro boards and TFT35 E3 screens which have a web interface and allow you to do some basic machine control over wifi.
