Wind Chimes from EMT, Copper or other Metal Pipe

I was going through and cleaning out some my old IE favorites & came across my group of Wind Chime favorites. Do you have some extra EMT you are wondering what to do with? Check these several pages out for making wind chimes from EMT, copper or other metal pipe. The 1st link has the most detail on using other pipes beside copper. The last link is for free Windows Wind Chime design program. I downloaded it & still works on a 64bit Win7 machine.

That is interesting. I have a ton of conduit and a few kids running around occasionally that need some projects to keep them busy.

Cool! I helped make a bell out of an expired argon welding tank. We cut the bottom off, then made a eye hook that fit through the gas fitting on the top to hang it. Used some chain and a 4 inch diameter ball mill ball for the clacker. Some day I want to make some giant wind chimes out of some to hang out in the field behind my house.

Where is the guide for using my old mpcnc parts too? Maybe I can screw them all together and make it look like a wind chime, without all the annoying sounds.

That would be called “industrial art”. You could make a fortune if you can find someone crazy enough to buy it.

Throw the words ‘organic’ or ‘recycled’ in the name to help sell it faster.

Interested?

PLA…“biodegradable (kinda)” add another zero to the price tag.

From what I’ve seen, you need to add “blockchain” to the name too…
