Sorry i just saw this, mine was tough the cushions are very squishy, but trying to bend that tab to get it in, that was tough.
I was afraid the roundover would splinter so i sanded.
When I installed the cushions that @boasist printed, they weren’t too bad to get in but were nice and secure! I think they are great like they are personally. We will see when the stars align and I can actually get one cut myself lol
Is the wooden TMT moving ahead? If so, after reviewing closeups of all the prototypes in this thread, from my woodworking background, I could give you some suggestions on ways to try to make the wooden TMTs a little more pleasing to the eye. Let me know if you are interested.
