I’m building my first LowRider! As a home workshop outfitter, I’d love to use it to make work bench tops similar to the MFSlab (but custom)
This will involve a lot of holes and some slots & cutouts…typically in 3/4” to 1” Baltic Birch or MDF.
What do I need to know about endmills or an overall strategy for making something like this? I have the Makita router.

I used this to cut out a chair from 3/4” maple plywood. It worked great.

great, I have 10 of those in my cart. With the # of holes and amount to remove, is there any reason to go for a 1/4” bit? (or stay away from it?)

I didn’t try a 1/4” on the plywood. It might be worth a try. The 1/8” worked well since all the cuts I did were profile cuts. I didn’t do any pockets.

The 1/8” o flute would work yes, but what diameter are those holes?

A 1/8, a 1/4” would work. Practice your holes, see if the machine is really square first so the holes arent elipses
