What type of wood is everyone using?

I’ve got plenty of MDF and a lot of 2x4 pine, but I was wondering what everyone else is using. I’m going to need to get some larger pine for sure.

Depends on what you’re going to use it for.

I’ve done particle board,

MDF,

Plywood,

oak,

and mystery wood.

If you’re going to be doing a lot of plywood, buy some extra end mills. Plywood is horrible on end mills. Pretty sure cutting sandstone would be easier(no, not really, don’t try this).

Lots of Particle Board. Some Pine. I find particle board is nice and cheap and good for running test cuts for fitment before cutting the final material.
