Wakeboard rack

I have this pile of wet stuff that keeps getting moved around and balanced on anything that might make a good drying rack.

So I finally got fed up with it. I spent about 2 hours figuring out what I wanted and getting it designed in CAD.

CAD, in case anyone has a use for it. Onshape

Each piece probably took 10 minutes start to finish on the LR4, I got to use up 3 pieces of scrap, which is always nice.

A little glue and a couple brads, And it works perfect. I need to add a few coats of Poly and maybe a little bunk carpet to the rails but for now it works perfect.

One of those days I am glad I had a CNC Router sitting there needing some software tested. I was thinking about it, I got exactly what I wanted and it only took a little longer than If I was to drive to a store and buy something to make it work. How freaking cool is that.

Things I would do differently next time. Any two edges that are getting glued, I will make a shallow slot to contain the glue. +0.5mm extra on each edge is a bit too much, slowly work that down 0.1mm at a time until it is just right. Take my time aiming with the brad nailer.
