Turn off the 'has this been answered'

As the topic subject states…

Is there a way to turn off the ‘has this question been answered’ box? If not globally for my user, but at least on a particular thread? My build threads don’t really have questions and for some reason that silly little box bugs me.

A lot of them are annoying, but I guess they are supposed to help. Maybe not quite as useful in a forum like this one

“You’ve responded too many times, are you sure you don’t want to send a personal message?”

“This thread has a solution, are you sure you want to leave another comment?”

etc. etc.

I hate it as well. I have not found a setting for it.

Nope…I found it. Can I change the Solved Education message? - support - Discourse Meta

Let me know if I need to make a poll, but I vote to kill them… kill them good.

Hmph… I just took it as a challenge to be subversive and obnoxious. Now, anyone can derail and necro any post with impunity… There goes the neighborhood.

Oh, don’t worry. No one will take the mantle away from your consistently unproductive insights

That is only for the OP and I am pretty sure it is not removable. I saw it in the thread I linked earlier.

Yeah… My reading comprehension sometimes sucks if I’m in a hurry. I read the link you posted, but missed the last statement that talks about it NOT being adjustable yet :frowning:

Temp probes on potatoes?!? What fresh hell is that? Just reach in with a gloved hand and give 'em a squeeze to see if they’re tender enough to pull out… But then, you’re putting them in waaa-aaay too early, given the state of that slab. Unless it’s very low, and you’re going to aire-vide the potatoes, in which case, why aren’t you wrapping them in foil? Do you like dried out starches?
