This may be a stupid question but I’ll ask anyway since I’m new to cnc. Does the touch plate work while connected and moving the machine or only while starting a job? I just made sure my LR3 was square but following the instructions and came to the point for z leveling. I wanted to see if it worked with just moving the z down and touching the plate to an endmill and it didn’t do anything.
