I’m running my MPCNC Primo with the BTT and 3.5 screen. dual x/y endstops. What I want to do is create my tool paths in VCarve Pro with a tool change between the roughing and finish tool paths. I would like the system to raise the bit move to a determined spot, hold while changing bits, touch screen to perform a z-home so bit is set to correct height then touch again to resume cnc operations with the new bit installed. Has anyone come up with a g-code that I can insert between the two tool paths that are on the same file? I did find a VCarve PP(profile) code in it but it does not move or have a z-home function, thought it would have but didn’t. Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW to date I’ve only used the SD card using the Screen for controlling the cnc, Don’t really want to keep a computer hooked up for a full cut using repetier. Thanks Y’all.
