So I have rewired all 5 motors and endstops, they 5 endstops are green and when I trigger them with my hand manually they are unlit. However, when I try to home Z the railside starts to skipp steps. My z1 is on the railside.
What could be wrong?
EDIT: The X-axis can be homed, also the Y-axis. I am using a Jackpot V1.
Is your machine skipping steps right away, or does it get stuck in some specific location?
If you power down your machine and spin the leadscrew by hand, is the motion free or does it bind/stick?
Did you use Ryan’s official LR config for the Jackpot V1?
Can you post the output of the $SS command from your terminal?
When you use the $Limits command, do all of the endstops report correctly in the terminal window when you press and release them? The endstop has to match the configured motor.
Hi Jim, thanks for your reply. I am using the official LR config for the Jackpot V1 with motors and endstops from v1e.com. I did test $Limits and found that I had missed the location of the endstops on the Jackpot. It is now working in all axis. It is really nice to see it working.
I think the next step is to check the squareness? And tomorrow I am planning on cutting the LR3 strut plates at 790 mm.
