Ryan when are we expecting version 5?

There’s the right question.
As far as any of us know, there is no LR5 in development.
We in the beta community have been kicking around ideas for possible point release/ quality of life updates for LR4.
As far as any of us know, Ryan’s next thing will be something new.
There’s also rumors that Ryan is playing around with concepts for a tool changer- but, as far of anyone I know can tell… nothing imminent.
If you’re on the fence about building a LR4, my advice is go ahead and start.

I have a full notebook of sketches, and have been doing a lot of R&D, but nothing in the works yet. I am working on a Zen right now, if that works out there is a lot of work making the docs and stuff for all of that first.
So yeah, safe to go for an LR4.
