The Four Horsemen

Drew something a little different last week. It took four days. Had to use ball points because the fine liners would have dried out before it finished. It would look much better if it were darker. This was originally a wood carving by Albrecht Durer back in the early 1500s. I think it might look pretty cool in wood, either with a laser, or a 30 degree v groove bit.

Man, this is incredible. Your drawing frame is on my wishlist as well, I’d love to have one of those in my room…

Next level!!!

It’s a bit of a head scratcher… I have one in my house that is typically only used for experimenting with new drawing styles before I send them to the public machine at the coffee shop. I can’t remember the last time I actually had it finish a drawing. I think it could be one of those things that you think you need until you actually have one and then you realize that building it was the fun part. It is kinda cool to have if you entertain a lot. For example, for a birthday gathering, you create a drawing from a photo of the person and time it to finish at the end of the party.

It’s like one of those sand tables. They are really cool but can get a little old after a bit. They belong in a place where people who have not experienced them before can watch them for the first time. Eh, that’s just my opinion anyways. And you know what they say about opinions…

Next step for the center tool head: pen changer?

Such awesome work- both in the art output and in the machine. Beautiful.

Thanks Jim.

Sounds like a challenge. I was thinking Smith and Wesson revolver with pens instead of bullets.
