For me, I sadly just came to the realization, that yes… there was a reason one side of the gantry had a single set of bearings, and the calculator didn’t double the length of Y rail you needed.
Turns out Ryan designed the LR4 with a single Y rail to avoid binding, and I just tried to magic one in on full autopilot.
Congrats on getting your build assembled and running! Seriously sturdy framing you have there.
If it makes you/someone feel better, while assembling my LR3, auto pilot (not being present) resulted in me cutting a perfectly measured EMT section for the gantry that wasn’t needed (i.e. cut 3 instead of 2 ). That mistake, and many others, is still sitting around somewhere… Reminding me to read and think more.
