picked up a rigid job saw. Too good to be true. Drove too far to get it and then it didn’t turn on, so the previous owner just gave it to me.
Pulled the power switch and the soft start had let the smoke out:
$80 for a new one. Bumped the motor to verify it works by wiring direct to the switch. Quick on/off and motor spins, so I’ll try out the aftermarket soft start when it gets here next week.
