I am going to build a 4X4 Non-CNC parametric table. Using the calculator and adding a little I am thinking 60” wide and 62”Lenght. 3: MDF strips. I was going to use 4’x4’ - 1/2” OSB on the bottom and top. Then add 3/4” MDF spoil board on top. This will put the cut surface about 1/2” above the rails. should I shim that up say 3/4” to get the surface a bit lower or just let it ride? do the rest of those measurements look OK? Thanks for the help
It will work either way. If you are doing mostly sheet goods or thinner stuff there is no worries. If you want to do much taller stuff you might want the extra height.
