Supports and FFF file

Hi,

I searched a bit on this, but I could not really find the answer. Did you guys print your parts with supports or are they supposed to be printable without?

And while we are on the subject, are there any FFF proces files available for simplify3D?

Thanks!

without supports

Why do you need the FFF for simplify 3d? How do you know you have the same printer as everyone else? You haven’t even said what printer you have.

Ryan already listed the recommended infill amounts for each part, and the overall amount of perimeters too.

That would be the case if I was asking for gcodes.

FFF files are only partially dedicated to the 3d printer. Here one can also find settings on layer thickness, nozzle and bed temperature, cooling, start and end script etc. etc.

Although the recommended infills are given, it is quite normal to share these FFF files. For example when 3D printing rc airplanes, it is important to use the same FFF files as the designer because otherwise you will end up with something that’s not how it was ment to be. (www.3dlabprint.com)

By the way, I have a Tevo Tarantula

no need for profiles.
use 220C PLA, 50-60C bed, 0.5mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer, ~60mm/s outer, 80mm/s infill, 55% infill (for most parts). that’s it

All of those are affected by what’s on the printer itself.
