When I first joined this forum about 5 years ago I used CABix as my default user name. But now to avoid confusion I’d rather use my full name Craig Bixler. Is there a way I can update my username? Or is it too late?

It does show your full name next to your user name on your post at least
You should be able to edit your own username in “preferences” in the menu under your picture. You will probably need to log out and back in after saving.
Let me know how it goes.
I tried but it can not have any spaces so I will leave it up to you to make your username.

Well to be fair this forum has a weird thing with the names. I think it was a carry-over from the previous forum we transferred in from. I wish we could just use our names…but you can’t @ a name, it has to be a username.

It is a pet peeve of mine when genuinely smart people call themselves stupid. I won’t beat you up about it, but know I don’t think you’re stupid. If the server software was designed to be easy, you would have fixed it without asking. The fact that it stumped you after you tried to fix it says a lot more about the software than your intelligence!
