Still Problems with Circles

Sounds like we need a mascot of a screw grub wearing suspenders…

So - I’ve been working on a project for work creating a custom agent around some AI image and video models…so I just had to ask for that and…I think he may haunt my nightmares now:

So in looking 29.5 should be home depot. @vicious1 can you add to this? Are the braces incorrect or correct??

check that conduit in multiple sides. see it if is oval or just a super random size. it should be 29.5 or 30 I have never seen anything in between unless it is just an oval and the other direction is smaller.

So I checked it at multiple places at multiple angles. Here’s what I came up with:

29.89

29.7

29.64

29.5

29.9

29.8

29.6

29.9

That seems like a particularly bad piece of conduit. There is a zinc coating maybe that is just lumpy. I would hit it with some sandpaper on a flat backer board, or grab another stick of EMT.

Well bugger. I’ll try that then. :frowning: That would definitely explain some things.

So I replaced the top and bottom rails, and it’s soooo much smoother now! Lowe’s also had a 29.5mm conduit (for the 1inch).

Now I need to figure out how to get everything leveled. It could be my spoiler board that’s screwed on I guess, but I’ll have to check the level on the new rails, the table and the spoiler board next.

Assuming one of those is NOT level, what should I do next?

The instructions have a pretty good z leveling section.

I’ll double check, thanks!
