Still having issues

Running a jackpot with fluid nc and estlcam v12 I followed the estlcam setup step by step and created gcode for the strut plates manually move bit to edge of work piece hit the start button z axis rose up and started cutting can’t figure out why it rises any ideas

Have you set the Z=0 at the top of the stock? (Z probe and set location)

I strongly suggest doing a test crown drawing, followed by air cuts or cuts into styrofoam as a first step. This will identify many issues before you start breaking bits or destroying your strut material from not fully understanding the processes.

Not sure how to do that I have probe coming the strut plates are air cutting just fine I’m not trying to cut yet just air cutting but like I said no matter where I start the z axis rises

Because the CNC does not know where 0 is. You have to set zero, normally you do that with the touchplate. Otherwise you have to tell it that Z = 0, I don’t know how to do that with the Jackpot though. :frowning:
