Hi all, been lurking for a while on the forum and finally started building the LR4!
The light grey always gives me these 1977 Star Wars vibes…
Still waiting on some crucial parts to continue… like plates from @Tokoloshe 
Got one question, when trying to route the wires on the underside of one of the YZ plate assemblies, i broke the cover (see below). I’m thinking i could easily glue the wires or fix it in another way, or should i print a new part (feels like a waste of plastic)…
Welcome! Love the Star Wars grey! I know I’ve read others encountering this same issue with the thin cover breaking off. I don’t think printing a whole new part is necessary. As long as you keep the wires tucked up somehow so that they aren’t dangling it will be fine. Tape and/or glue are good options.

The most important is that the wires don’t drag on the table i think.
Well… NOW you are going to have to make custom Peter Plates…

You can just glue the cover on again. If you put in the cables, try to push them in 1 by 1 with a small hex key, at least that’s what I do.
I’ll try glueing the part back. 
I used hot glue to put the wires in on my beta build. The opening was smaller then, and I broke the covers kn both sides trying to put in the wires. 
Worked just fine though.
Doing it again, I’d probably just use duct tape. You can’t see it in normal use anyway.

I was also thinking i could use hot glue if re-attaching the broken part won’t work. But then again i also love duct tape! (or gaffer…)
Gaffer tape is the best! I use it all the time!!

looks great! What size are the plywood underneath? And what table are you going for?
Underneath are 3 full sheets 18mm pine underlayment (with tongue and groove).
Torsionbox table. Don’t know what to use underneath yet…

Do you think 15 mm pine would be sufficient?
Yeah, 15mm is fine.
Just needs to be placed on a flat floor.
You mean for bootstrapping the strutplates and table right?
