I just ordered the full LR2 KIT
These are the stainless tubes available to me locally.
Stainless Round Tube 304 Welded
outer diameter: 1.000inch
thickness: 0.120inch
length: 72inch
Before I pull the trigger on these, would they be too thick?

You won’t break any speed records but for ordinary use they will be fine. I used thick-walled tube for my double-decker and it’s a bit heavy but not too bad.
72 inches is quite long though and will become heavy. Is that really the size or is that going to be cut into two 36" pieces?
Thanks, 72 inches long are what they have in stock. A 4x8ft sheet build is the plan.
double decker? do you have a build log or details?
Sure it’s here: Double-decker build
This is a very unusual MPCNC build.
One could say “unique”…
ah, ok, so for a single level 4x8 sheet capable lowrider 2 the 0.120inch thickness should be fine?
I want to avoid the issues this guy describes as well, will I need to do the same modifications?
