I was just looking at the Jackpot dimensioned drawings and discovered a couple dimensions were missing: The SD Card socket is not defined as to size or location.
I think the minimum opening for the slot is 14.86x1.88 with the lower right corner (as shown on the side view is 41mm from the reference corner, and 1.62 from the lower surface of the board.
My board has the ESP32 flush with the edge of the board, but the dimensions on the drawing show a 4mm overhang of the development board relative to the edge of the Jackpot.
I’m designing a box to hold the Jackpot on the FrankenLaser and noted these items as I worked through my design.
Is it easier at that point to use the 3d Step file I have linked? The card holder is centered in the female headers and the sd is offset (I do use different sd readers, so the dims do vary).
I could not find a different model for it. I need to take another look though.
Thinking out loud here - is there any reason not to use one of those small extensions that would enable the SD card to be mounted pretty much anywhere in the case?
Apart from the obvious one, says the bloke who currently has a dead USB setup caused somewhere in a similar chain!
