Slight play with core mount

I’ve noticed I have a slight amount of play with the core mount on the X axis. I’m wondering if this is normal or if my core has been damaged from being in direct sunlight for several hours of operation, or something else.

Here’s a short video of the potential issue:

I know you’ve said tighten core clamps, but specifically which items are you referring to?

I don’t remember any part that looks like that. Nor do I see where a part like that would attach to the LR3 core.

I’m very sorry. This is a Primo part. I did not notice your machine is a Lowrider. The issue you outline is one that has come across the forum for the Primo with some regularity, so I made a bad assumption. I bet there is some similar mechanism for setting the tension on those bearings for the Lowrider, but, since I’m not a Lowrider owner, I can’t tell you want it is. If you cannot find it, I’m sure some Lowrider owner will give you an answer. I deleted my earlier post so others will not assume your question has been answered.

You can tighten the bottom 2 captured bearings. Very very slightly. It doesn’t take much at all. Go about 1/8th of a turn and test it.

I know I have cracked 2 cores by over tightening the tool mount so be careful of that as well

Thank you. I was afraid of just randomly over tightening things.
