I think I’ve wanted to make one of these ever since I saw it - the minimal wasted material really appealed to me. The dxf I found was drawn for 3/4” material… which I don’t have. But I do have 1/4” - which is actually 8mm. So I adjusted the slots to use doubled up thinner material. Worked out fine, the only bit that needs glue is the top which should still come off and you could store it flat. For…. travelling I guess?

You’d need a belter of a laser to cut that in 3/4” plywood. I have access to an 80W CO2 and I know it couldn’t
I’d quite like some good quality 3/4” plywood, just need to sell a kidney or something to get the cash together.
