Sim rig I made with the LR3

I made the sim Rig @CesarH shared.
As some of you may know I had some trouble with the wood as it was destroying my bits.
Some of the errors I could fill in but that meant I had to paint it, so I did. I wish it wasn’t necessary for I liked the wood more.

But I got it done in the end.

Can I come over and play?? Very nice!

That’s exceptionally cool! A couple of (tongue in cheek) items: first, my knees ache just thinking of standing up from a recumbent position that low to the ground; second, cooling fins on a steering wheel? Does it have some serious (i.e., wrist-fracturing) haptics?

Of course, dont know how close you are but everyone is welcome.

Yes I am considering making a podium to put under it so I have a little bit easier time getting in and out. Age catches us all.

The cooling is necessary, it’s a direct drive so basically it’s a big motor with the wheel directly connected to it. It has quite some torque 8nm in this case.

Very clever cover for it, how comfortable is it, will you be running some 24 hr races on this!

I have spent +8hs sometimes, the seat is the most comfortable one i’ve seen. (Tried 4 diy playseats before this one)
