Looking for options foir power switched for my build at SW VA V5 with a DragonBurner, DragonCutter and Filament sensors on the toolhead
I have always used the IEC power cords and the connectors but was curious if anyone has used other options.

This is what I have on all mine.
Same here, have connector mounted to CNC’d panel on the internal 2020 + polycarbonate power+controller case (shared .dxf and .stl files if that helps).
btw - This is what I did, but definitely not what I’d recommend…
I have my printer on a smart switch and just power it on/off via the button on the smart switch or my phone.
End goal is to automate turning it off if the smoke alarm sounds.
The nice thing about this is I can turn it on and start it pre-heating from upstairs or turn it off after a job is done without needing to go downstairs to where the printer is.
The Athom ones are what I’ve been using. Cheap, decently well built and just running stock Tasmota, which is nice.
Edit: Just realized this is the printer section XD Those I like the IEC plugs with the integrated switch.
Mine is the e-stop in the pic. Have it wired to the coil of a relay that will interrupt power to both the vfd and controller PSU. Use a second set of contacts on the e-stop to trigger an input on the vfd to command a stop as well so it doesnt keep running until the caps discharge.
