Speaking of A4 sheets, guess what we forgot to bring 
@ChrisB might you have a stack of A4 handy you could bring for us to draw on with the machine? Double plus bonus if you also have a microSD to lend us for the weekend.
Both items we can source tomorrow if necessary but we’d have to get out of the city to a proper supermarket to do so I think

Based on experience from previous events… Consider seating a trim router in the Core, or, resting on the table close by so people mentally ‘click’ and don’t assume LR4’s just a sturdy pen plotter.
We’ll need to do that with direct engagement and showing off the stuff on the tablet. We didn’t bring a trim router to the show.
I won’t be able to try updating again until tomorrow. Long story but in a nutshell: parking.
On my list of notes is to bring or print extra cores to hand out as props. The core is a great hand prop.
A router on it would be good. Noted.

Aw crud. We floated both bringing a router and an extra core prop on Thursday and I totally forgot about both!
Should have put a 3D printer on the van! I have done it for events in the past and it’s totally saved my bacon…

Won’t hold you to anything, but, when might you try updating the tablets next? I have strong urges to light up the speech input for more interactive fun experience, but, I won’t if you have limited time/wifi to download the .APK
Example scenario:
- Attendee: “Can it cut aluminum?”
- Tablet: Auto filters to show videos of Alu chips flying…

Two different files, If you start on the paper it goes from there.
The other way is home and take the time to figure out the distance after homing and just have it do it all automatic, but that takes a little tuning not to kill pens since they need a light touch.

A4 I have here. No SD card though as I’m not anywhere near my stash. I’m setting off now and will pull into a supermarket if I pass one and source SD.
