So I’m getting ready to order my router bits for this lovely LowRider 2. What shank length is the shortest length that would reach properly from the bottom of the z axis to the table below?
I think any endmill you get will be able to reach the surface. If you do happen to find one you can always raise your material by cutting on a thin sheet of Styrofoam insulation or something similar.
Sounds great- Thanks Ryan. I’m looking at an Amana cutter. They had 2 sizes - 1 11/16 and 2" . Think I’ll go for the 2" just to be on the safe side.
I have cutters in the shop that are a heck of a lot less expensive. Unless you are trying to get something special.
Hi ryan i didn’t get the bits from your store because I couldn’t find the dwp611 anywhere where i am. But i have since found one, i noticed the bits are 1/8th and my dewalt router has a 1/4th collet. Can i buy the bits from shop for my router?
There is a 1/8" collet linked in the parts for the low rider.
Amana cutters are the best.
