hello and thanks for this amazing work you have done, today I bought all the components (I found in the spreadsheet).
Unfortunately after buying I realized I need to make a battery out of a drill battery, can you please help me understand what parts I need to buy and how to wire them?

I used an instructible for the parts & how to put that together. Unfortunately, for some reason the author took that instructible down & I don’t seem to have those instructions anywhere. You could use just a simple 12v or 24v PS like is used on 3D printers & plug it into AC. I did that initially in the early stages of this design.

Thanks for the reply, I have a couple of questions, would a 12-volt power bank work?
Do you have your a discord channel? other people might have made this, because it’s well done, and talking to other people can really help.

There is no discord channel. This was never accurate enough for me, so I let go of the idea. There were a couple of similar designs on openbuilds.com that seemed to work ok for them, but they have little documentation on their designs. Those are the designs that inspired me to work on this idea.

Any power source that would give you the right voltage and enough amps needed for the controller board you use should work.

I hope you will manage to figure out a way to make it work, I will try to return the parts, in total I’m already 350 euros in.

I am sorry you did not ask questions about the project before ordering the parts. There are a lot of projects out there that use V-slot that you could use that material for. I still have the plotter put together & may work on it again one day, but currently have other projects I am more interested in.
