Over the last few weeks, I’ve noticed old topics appearing in the latest view.
The most recent example of this for me is the thread below, for which the last post is 2021, and it doesn’t appear to have been edited since then.
Is anyone else noticing this? Any idea why it is happening?
I assumed it was a case where a bot or spammer posted something and it got cleaned up.
Sometimes the list below the current topic contains much older topics. Folks new to the forums may be seeing these for the first time, and not realizing their age, reply to them, resurrecting very old discussions.
I’ve been on the forums for a long time, and sometimes catch myself almost waking up one of these zombies.
