"Puzzle" for my nephew

Super simple puzzle for my nephew, who is one year. No finish yet since we don’t know the parent’s preferences.

Very cool and a great way to teach them their name !
So this is basically what you call a inlay ? I have seen your other stuff just assumed it was epoxy not actual wood pieces.

No, that’s not an inlay, those are straight cuts and the inner parts are half a mm smaller. The general idea is the same though.

Here you can see how I make an inlay:

I’ve only once done something with epoxy.

Hahaha thanks for the clarification!!
Sounds like we are on opposite sides of the world and process.

Yeah, I chose the hard way. :yum::joy:

But to be honest, I was not really good around epoxy. All those bubbles… :expressionless:

Yeah I hear you on that, I wonder if a guy could make a screw on cap for common plastic bottles and use a syringe to vacuum them out. I just love working with epoxy but I always always make a mess lol

Seeing this gave me an idea for a present for my first second cousin that was born last week.

I have been looking for this font, but every thing I can find is close but not a nice as the one that you used. Do you remember what font you used?

Here you are: Simply Rounded Font | dafont.com

Thanks.
