I wish prusa was not soooo expensive. This youtube really looks nice. (I know the slicer works for most printers) but their printers are nice too, but the cost. It is sooo expensive.
But you get what you pay for on them. I cut my teeth on an Ender 3 and Ender 5. Then Bambu launched and I took a chance even though it was so expensive. But it is so nice to go hit print and walk away. On the Enders, I had to spend 30 minutes to even get it to attempt a print. I spent more time trying to print then printing. The Bambu has never had an issue after thousands of prints. I know many people who say the same about the Prusa.

Wow wow wow Prusa Fanboy here, Bambu is an absolute shit company.
If my mk3s wouldn’t print so good after 10 years I’d bought a new Prusa. And yes my Prusa had some issues caused by it’s wear and tear but I can still buy original parts in the Prusa store. (Try and buy replacement parts from old Bambu printers!!!)
I have a Bambu Lab printer and to be honest, 2200 hours in, still no need for replacement parts!
Agreed! By the time my Bambu needs parts, there will be plenty of 3rd party support. And there already is. And even then, maybe I will just upgrade.

From the information I got it sounds like they finally solved my different nozzle size problem (and might have included the different size nozzles for INDX. Hopefully.
Just matter of time until the printer gonna break down and the effort too fix it is going to outway the cost of buying a new one. Also if you’re still defending Bambulab after all the shit they pulled in the community you have probably been living under a rock.
I have a Bambu and I’m happy with it. I’m aware of the things that people freaked about. When I bought my Bambu, I thought positively of Prusa but it wasn’t in the budget. After reading about all the upgrade and rollout hullabaloo with Prusa on this forum, I’m pretty turned off by Prusa at this point and wouldn’t hesitant to buy another Bambu. To each their own.
I just got the upgrade kit to take my Core One L to a Core one L+.
Last time I checked (two nights ago), the latest PrusaSlicer wasn’t out of beta, but it was expected “real soon now”
I usually wait 2-3 weeks after release before I use any of their new releases.
I’d say wast until it’s been released. But the plug in CD API is there!
They posted a download for the flatpack. There seem to be some problems with the “normal” way.

I have two in an old armoire. Both started as plain old MK3 models. Still use them just send the job and then go and collect the print, not fast but quiet and reliable.
The interesting thing about that (and my Mk3s Lives on in the capable hands of my 20 year old grandson) is that I miss having time between iterations - the pressure is on to keep the machine working.
I’s like the difference between sending a letter and receiving an email - the letter often has a considered reply the email in its hunger for instant response does not allow that.
Perhaps I need to slow things down!
