Proper way to shut down machines?

Is there a “proper” shut down method for the Jackpot (or any of these boards for that matter)? Or do you just kill the power?

Kill the power.

Just trying to get back on track.

There’s no harm in shutting down the power at any time on these boards, everything runs from memory and you can reset them at any time.
Eveything will be loaded back again from scratch when you power up next time

If you shut down during a file transfer though, your file may be corrupted (but then again why would you?)
Also, if you take the power out during a move, FLuidNC will probably restart with an alarm and you will need to re-home

Other than that, when idle, you can just unplug the power and it should be good (I have mine on a power strip to shut down the VFD and other accessories too)
