Does anyone have a recommendation for a good purpose built Print Farm Rack? We’re setting up a small Print Farm at work and I know a few of you have one.
If by this you mean something like a shelf to hold several printers, my main thought is it needs to be extremely stout. A bunch of printers all vibrating a different frequency can have negative effects on each other.
I use a couple NSF racks. Wheels are really nice.
Amazon.com, lots of other size options.
Was originally looking at these but the final price after tax, shipping, & handling is ridiculous.
You can just buy the parts anywhere. They even have a BOM.
Yeah, I’m learning towards that direction but I wanted to make sure I didn’t miss any better options.
I’ve been using these in my shop. I don’t have a print farm, but I have a few printers and laser sitting on these shelves. Big. Sturdy. Easy to assemble. I slide a 1/2" plywood board on the shelves that I don’t want smaller things falling through, but you could get by with thinner boards.
