Hello guys. I’m about to start printing new parts for mpcnc, it would be my second build of this great machine. I would like to ask you about using 0.8mm nozzle and petg. I want to print it with 0.4mm layer height, two perimeters, two top/bottom layers and recomended % of infill, probably grid pattern. Any possible problem with those parameters? Is it ok to print everything in petg or should I print the middle assembly in pla to make it more rigid? Someone on this forum posted that petg is a little more flexible. Thank you for your advise
The settings you have seem good, as recommended.
PETG is fine, but PLA is more rigid. Probably want to keep at least the XYZ piece PLA. Since you have another machine to compare it to let us know what you think.
