Post Editing Timeout

Question for the Forum Host…

It looks like the timeout for post editing is set to 1 month, or thereabouts. Can that be extended? Not a big deal, but I thought I would start a thread detailing a machine I built with the Jackpot board and on the off chance it gets really long, I thought it might be convenient to index the highlights of the build on the first post, with a table of contents of sorts containing links to things like BOM, 3d printed parts, construction, etc. (things likely to change over time) .Thought it would make things easier if the thread got really long and someone stumbled upon the project in the future.

Or, maybe you know of a better way to go about it?

It is set that way to prevent people from editing posts. Once a post is edited no one is notified so the info was getting lost.

You can do a flowing thread and just keep going then you can start a new thread and link the individual posts from the previous one to get all the info in one place. Threads are free, so feel free to make multiple.
