I mainly use a cargo bike. 
We live in a bikeable city, so we only have a small car that gets used around once a week, but would not fit a sheet. Our Hornbach cuts them to size for free though.

That sounds so nice. I mountain bike. But the roads are too dangerous for me to bike. Especially with my family. The roads nearby are 45mph (70kph), have businesses and parking lots on them (so lots of turning cars) and no bike lanes. There a few bike/pedestrian paths, but they are useless 6 months of the year.
Heh, I’ve seen people with full lengths of plumbing pipe strapped to their mopeds in Bali.
