Earlier in the year, my wife and I designed and sold plant stands that utilized inexpensive pots available at Target and Ikea. I’ve been meaning to post pictures here, but never got around to it until now. Made from 12mm plywood.
Very clean and elegant design.

After some trial and error, the best way I could get to a good starting point, was to take a picture of the pot profile and import it into inkscape. Then scale the picture to match a known measurement. I would cut it out of cardboard with the LR3 to double check the fit, but there were often tweaks.

You either have a really good picture shooting studio or really good rendering skills lol Those first few pictures look flawless making me doubt their reality.

I took those in my basement over a roll of white seamless paper, just a single strobe with a giant softbox diffuser. It was a pretty minimal setup, but I’m flattered at the comparison to a rendering haha.
