My side gig that is paying for this MPCNC is making high end custom Japanese knife handles. Some handles use copper, brass, aluminum, or nickel silver between 1/32-1/8th inch.

can I use the MPCNC for this? It’s not why I am building it, but it certainly would be nice. These only need to be rough cut, since I finish them once everything is glued up.

A smaller build has been proven to cut steel so keep your build small and learn your CAM really well and the softer metal should be within reach for sure.
